GWBD offers two hospital indemnity plans to choose from.

You have the option to purchase accident insurance, which helps to protect your finances after an accident. If you incur a covered injury, you will be paid a lump sum cash benefit, which you can use to help pay for out-of-pocket medical costs or everyday expenses.

Critical illness insurance provides you with a fixed, lump sum benefit upon the diagnosis of a serious illness like heart attack, stroke, or cancer. Benefits are paid directly to you and may be used on any expenses, from deductibles and prescriptions to travel expenses, childcare, or other everyday expenses.
GWBD offers critical illness plans based on first and second occurrence. Employees are eligible for $5,000, $10,000, or $15,000 benefit amounts. Spouses are eligible for 50% of the employee amount.
